Route planning, tower engineering and conductor design for overhead transmission lines up to 765 kV.
Discuss your projectThe engineering challenge
A transmission line brings route conditions, conductor behaviour, tower loading and foundations into one design. Degi Trans supports new lines, special crossings and the review of existing infrastructure, from survey and line layout through detailed engineering and project monitoring.

Where we contribute
The scope is agreed around your project stage and available inputs.
Route surveys, profiling and tower spotting in PLS-CADD, with attention to terrain, clearances and crossing requirements.
Transmission tower design up to 765 kV, including river and rail crossings and crossings above or below other power lines. Tower and foundation requirements are coordinated around the site.
Conductor design to suit the project, sag-template curves and stringing charts for conductors and ground wires. Sag templates can be prepared as softcopy or on acrylic sheet where required.
Advice on upgrading and uprating transmission lines, alongside the engineering of power evacuation schemes for the project’s requirements.
Third-party inspection of tower parts and accessories, design checking and transmission line project monitoring within the agreed engagement.
A defined scope of work
We confirm the required calculations, drawings and review support at the start of each engagement.
Share the line voltage, route survey or corridor information, conductor and ground-wire data, design criteria, crossing constraints and project stage. Tell us which survey, design, review or monitoring packages you need.
